A Coach is ....
What is psychosocial coaching?
Professional advice and support for mental stress, life questions and personal development
In my work, I encounter many people who have simply "carried on" for a long time. They care for others, work hard, adapt, and take on responsibility. Until at some point, they just can't anymore. The tension mounts. Their thoughts race incessantly. Their bodies are exhausted. Their emotions weigh them down. Small things seem overwhelming. And they can no longer think clearly or make sound decisions.
They often say, "I know things can't continue like this, but I don't know how to change it."
This is precisely where psychosocial coaching can be helpful.

What do I mean by psychosocial coaching?
Psychosocial coaching focuses on the interplay between the psyche (thoughts, feelings, behavior) and social circumstances (work, relationships, caregiving situations, responsibilities). Many problems arise not only "internally" but also in everyday life. Work pressure, informal caregiving, illness, conflicts, or traumatic events can disrupt this balance.
In my coaching, I support people in:
The goal is not perfect functioning, but sustainable and healthy functioning.

In my coaching, I support people in:
- Gaining insights into their blocks
- Recognizing early signs of stress and tension
- Dealing differently with thoughts and feelings
- Setting boundaries
- Strengthening their resilience
- Making decisions that align with their values

We combine conversations with practical exercises and reflection. The goal is for you to apply the skills you learn outside of our sessions as well.
In my view, coaching should not create dependency, but rather empower you.

For me, that's the essence of resilience.
